Ten-week full-time research fellowship in a Caltech faculty lab across sciences and engineering. Open to: continuing undergraduates at Caltech or other schools (visiting students need GPA 2.5/4.0 and to have finished their second semester); international students may take part on campus (US work authorisation such as CPT/OPT may be needed), while JPL placements are for US citizens and permanent residents. Catch: you must first secure a Caltech faculty mentor who supports the application. Next step: contact mentors, then apply from 1 Nov; awards announced 1 Apr.
