Teams solve a data-driven scenario using statistics, probability and risk analysis, then semifinalists are paired with an actuarial mentor for a research project. Open to: US high school students taking junior- or senior-level maths (statistics, probability, pre-calculus or calculus), alone or in teams of one to five.
