Lab research with Mayo faculty

Full-time, 10-week laboratory research fellowship in biomedical science and medicine, with at least 40 hours a week in a Mayo lab on one of three campuses. Open to: students enrolled at an accredited US college who have finished their sophomore year, with a 3.0 GPA, who are considering a PhD or MD-PhD; international students enrolled full-time may apply but must hold their own work authorisation as Mayo does not sponsor visas. The catch: everyone must start on 1 June, and only one application per season is allowed. Applications open 1 Nov 2026 and offers go out on a rolling basis from mid-February to mid-March 2027.
